Pay Attention To The Details!

What?

The department of Forensic Psychology at Maastricht University are recruiting for a virtual reality study that investigates our ability to focus on details of a crime whilst under pressure.

During the first session, you will begin by filling in several questionnaires about your state of mind and psychological characteristics. After, you will complete several tasks within a virtual reality environment, where you may also be exposed to a demanding situation, which may include mild electric shocks. Before, during and after these tasks, we will obtain saliva samples (using a cotton swab).
During the second session, you will complete several computer based tasks.

When?

The study will take place at the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience (UNS40) and consists of 2 lab sessions for a total duration of approximately 2.5 hours. The sessions must be scheduled on consecutive afternoons.
